In today's difficult times, it is more important than ever to be able to continue to work optimally in the office as well as at home. The programmers at Adobe have recognised this and have included some interesting innovations in the October and November updates.
Here are some of the most important aspects, some of which are already integrated, but which have been considerably improved:
-
Adobe Illustrator : Cloud-based documents can be shared and tracked from within Illustrator.
-
Adobe InDesign : Files can be sent more easily for review. Comments are then tracked and edited directly in InDesign.
-
Adobe Spark : Approved images from shared libraries can be easily transferred to your Spark projects.
-
Creative Cloud Libraries : Find, organise, and share design elements across all your applications, devices, and projects.
-
Adobe XD : Edit a project in real time and simultaneously with other team members.
Ce ne sont là que quelques-unes des principales nouveautés, mais les suivantes sont particulièrement intéressantes pour les utilisateurs qui souhaitent tirer le meilleur parti des produits Adobe dans leur chaîne de production
Photoshop on the iPad - version 2.0 from October 2020
In addition to the benefits of a tablet in cooperation with Photoshop, Adobe offers a platform for creative minds to exchange ideas with each other, or even stream their work processes, or view and inspire the work of other users in galleries. Image size can now be adjusted more easily.
InDesign - since October 2020 in version 16.0
The market leader also introduces some new features, but after last year's major update, it's more details that are useful in production, as well as improved stability and support for optimised workflows.
Review improvements: The review function has been significantly improved revisited and expanded with features such as highlighting, inserting and strikethrough text.
Colours: Quickly find and replace unused colours in InDesign document objects with the new "Find and Replace Colours" feature.
Text wrapping: Use Adobe Sensei support to wrap text directly around the outline of a drawing without using alpha channels or Photoshop paths.
HSB colour space: Colour values no longer need to be converted to RGB. Use HSB values in InDesign whenever these colour values need to be specified.
Detect and recover damaged documents: problematic documents are detected immediately, so you can try to repair them directly from the InDesign program on the Adobe servers.
Media Control Panel navigation points: Use navigation points to start playing video content at a specific time, saving time when searching for content in videos.
Illustrator desktop version, October 2020 version 25.0
Recolour images: Automatically extract colour palettes from vector or pixel image objects and apply them more easily to your drawings.
Enhance online documents: Integrate Photoshop documents into your Illustrator documents. View, highlight, and revert to older versions as needed.
Smart glyph alignment: Precisely position text and other objects along text boundaries with smart glyph guides.
Font enhancements: Set font sizes based on height values, align objects to the visual boundaries of glyphs, and vertically align text in a text frame.
